The Magic Yarn Project 2021

The Magic Yarn Project is a favorite here at The Insurance Store. The thought of bringing light into a child’s eyes who is suffering with cancer warms our hearts. As a team, we crocheted beanies, measured and cut yarn, crocheted long strands of yarn to the beanies, braided yarn hair, and finally finished up by gluing flowers down the yarn braid. This project resulted in six beautiful Rapunzel wigs and four Jack Sparrow wigs, which will be gifted to young cancer fighting children who long for normalcy in a world that can be difficult to understand. Creating these fairytale wigs is just a small part of fighting the battle of cancer, but many small efforts can do great things.

Here are some pictures of the team creating wigs in our Murrieta office.
