At The Insurance Store, we take pride in celebrating our incredible team members, and today, we’re shining the spotlight on the delightful Kim St. Clair. Kim is not only an invaluable member of our team but also a devoted family woman, an avid traveler, and a passionate collector of vintage treasures.

Kim and her husband Mike are proud parents of three children and doting grandparents to four wonderful grandchildren. Their family is the heart of their lives, and they cherish every moment spent together. Whether it’s a holiday gathering or a spontaneous road trip, family time is always the top priority. Over the years, Kim and Mike have planned countless vacations around visiting their children and grandchildren, ensuring that family bonds remain strong and vibrant.

This month, Kim and Mike embarked on an unforgettable road trip to Northern California to visit their son Jesse’s family. They took the scenic coastal routes along Highways 1 and 101, stopping at charming destinations with their ultimate destination of Redway, CA. During their road trip, one of the most enchanting stops was Carmel-By-The-Sea, where the fairytale cottages made Kim and Mike feel like they had stepped into a storybook. Each colorful, whimsical house captured their imaginations.

Once they reached their destination of Redway, CA, they spent quality time with their granddaughters, Eevee and June. A highlight of the trip was visiting the Sequoia Park Zoo, where the girls delighted in the playfulness of the red pandas, flamingos, and sea otters. They even had fun on the new Redwood Sky Walk, which was an exhilarating adventure, allowing them to explore the treetops and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the zoo.

With traveling being one of Kim’s favorite activities, her all-time favorite trip was when she and her husband celebrated his 50th birthday with a spontaneous trip to Europe. Inspired by their son Brandon’s discovery of a great deal on flights, they jetted off from San Diego to London for just $99 each way. With the help of AAA, they planned a two-week whirlwind tour that took them through London, Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, and even on a delightful Rhine River Cruise. This trip was a dream come true for Kim, filled with awe-inspiring moments exploring beautiful Catholic cathedrals, indulging in delicious cuisines, and immersing themselves in the rich cultures and histories of each country. The adventure was made even more memorable by the extra excursions they took to make the most of their time abroad.

In addition to her love of travel, Kim’s passion for decorating, especially during Halloween and Christmas, is legendary. Her meticulous and creative holiday displays even once caught the eye of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, earning her a feature for her spooktacular Halloween mantle. Over the years, Kim has amassed a stunning collection of vintage holiday decorations, enabling her to create multiple themed displays. At Christmas, her home is a wonderland adorned with multiple themed Christmas trees, each holding ornaments with precious sentimental value. Her decorating skills and eye for vintage treasures is a lifelong hobby. She enjoys the thrill of finding unique, timeless pieces that tell a story and add character to her home. Her collection spans over 40 years, making each piece a cherished part of her personal history.

Kim St. Clair brings a wealth of experience, joy, and creativity to TIS. Her dedication to family, her adventurous spirit, and her flair for decorating make her a beloved member of our team and an inspiration to us all.
