Charity of the Quarter: Wounded Warrior Project

In Newsletter Content by Brandon St. Clair

Our first charity of the quarter for 2021 is the Wounded Warrior Project. We are excited to partner with them in donating $10 for every referral you send in to TIS. We want to share a little bit about who they are and how they are helping.

Wounded Warrior Project is focused on serving veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001.

There are more than 52,000 servicemen and women physically injured in recent military conflicts. 500,000 of these servicemen are living with invisible wounds, from depression to post-traumatic stress disorder. An astounding 320,000 servicemen are experiencing debilitating brain trauma. These numbers speak to the extent of the need for help and intervention. With the support of community donors and team members, Wounded Warrior Project gives a voice to these needs and empowers warriors to begin their path to recovery.
