Rennae Packer

My name is Rennae Packer.  I was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and attended college in the small southern Colorado town of Alamosa.  I met and married my husband, Travis, while attending college. After graduation, we moved back to Grand Junction, where we welcomed our first child, Mikenzie.  In 2006, my husband’s work moved us to The Woodlands, TX, where we had two more children Preston and Charlotte.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with a Minor in Business Administration from Adams State University, where I graduated Cum Laude in 2005.  In my free time, I volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, managing the finances and membership records for my son’s Scouts BSA troop.

For the past 17 years, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with my children.  It’s been so fun to watch them grow from little babies, into fearless children, and capable young adults.  Family life has kept me busy. I’ve spent many hours driving my kids around, attending band or orchestra concerts, marching band and football games, music lessons, scouts, gymnastics, church, and school activities.  It has been an adventure that I love, but I am excited to begin a new one, working outside the home.

I love seeing things come together, which is probably why my happy place is in the kitchen when I am cooking or baking.  I enjoy reading, music, singing in choirs, traveling, home improvement projects, and listening to true crime stories.  I love the outdoors, especially the mountains.  I’m tempted to live in a cabin, in the middle of nowhere, next to a stream, with trees as far as the eye can see, but I enjoy the conveniences of living in the city too much to take that leap.

I’m excited to begin the next chapter of my life working for TIS, and I hope that my experiences and skills will bless those I work with.
