Hello! I'm Lauren Phillips, currently studying Data Analytics at the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and attending East High School, I was always driven by a passion for learning and a desire to make a positive impact. In my previous job at Liberty Bank Inc, I managed phone communications, reception duties, and customer insurance-related tasks. This is where I began to develop strong skills in communication, organization, and customer service. This role taught me the importance of precision and the impact of effective interpersonal skills in a professional setting. A particularly transformative experience was my service trip to India, where I taught English to children in a small village community.
Designing lesson plans and teaching English to students who were learning the language for the first time was both challenging and rewarding. This experience not only honed my teaching skills but also deepened my understanding of global education challenges. It reinforced my commitment to making a meaningful difference through education and cultural sensitivity. I'm particularly passionate about improving procedures to increase efficiency. I enjoy focusing on process optimization in every job I undertake. Looking ahead, I aspire to attend Law School to further my academic and professional goals. I am committed to maintaining high academic standards and continually seek opportunities to apply my skills in ways that drive positive change.
