Kelsea Clark

Hi, my name is Kelsea Clark, and I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I am the 3rd of 10 children. As a youth, I spent most of my time at church with my grandparents or competing in cheerleading competitions. I am the proud mother of a sweet little girl, and we recently relocated to Houston, Texas in the fall of 2019. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and going to church. One of my secret talents is interior design; I love to decorate and do DIY projects.

I believe that God places us all on this earth to serve a purpose. I believe my purpose is to serve others and love intentionally. I'm most passionate about the children of the world and those specifically impacted by abuse, neglect and homelessness. I try my best to make everyone I encounter feel understood, seen, and heard.

My four years prior to relocating, I founded a non-profit organization for at-risk youth. I've mentored over 50 children ages 13-18 and received multiple awards and accolades from Michigan's City Council and State Legislatures for my impact in the community. I have spoken publicly at many empowerment events and hosted a few of my own as well. I'm a huge advocate for Foster Care and Adoption as that was what my siblings and I faced.

I started my insurance career in 2019. I am a licensed Life and Health agent, and I have worked with small businesses to obtain benefits for their employees. I'm excited to learn more on the property and casualty side and further my career with The Insurance Store.

I am excited to advance and grow my career in the insurance industry. In the future, I plan to open group homes that will house foster youth who have aged out of the system. I plan to retire as a philanthropist with hopes of continuing this mission around the world.
